Year 1 and Year 2 have had a special delivery of living eggs.
Year 6 thoroughly enjoyed participating in ‘DinoMaths’ yesterday – a work shop using dinosaurs to bring maths topics such as measures, ratio and proportion into context. I wonder who has been inspired to become a scientist or palaeontologist when they’re older!
Children across the school, alongside their parents, took part in eSafety workshops with a twist this year…
Important messages were delivered through NowPressPlay experiences involving the children listening and responding to scenarios through headsets, addressing issues such as online bullying, the reality of online identities and the dangers of sharing personal information.
The Year 6 children participated in workshops this afternoon to provide them with the skills and knowledge they need to lead sports activities on the yard with the younger children.
After being given different criteria, the children impressively ordered themselves on the benches without using any verbal communication. Mrs Smith was very impressed – she could definitely get used to the silence!
